Heather Schoen, MD

Dr. Schoen grew up in Dallas, Texas, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Baylor University. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Schoen is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

She has been a part of Associates in women's Health since January of 2003 and enjoys caring for the obstetric, gynecologic, surgical and infertility needs of her patients. She has a particular interest in laparoscopic and minimally-invasive surgeries including laparoscopic hysterectomies utilizing the da Vinci robot, incontinence procedures, hysteroscopies, endometrial ablation, and in-office sterilization (Essure).

She has lived in Colorado with her 2 children, Kaia and Hayden, since 2000 and loves being here. When not working, she enjoys traveling, reading, running, biking, hiking, skiing – you name it. She really values the relationship she has with her patients. "I want my patients to feel comfortable, relaxed and confident that they are receiving thorough, compassionate and up-to-date care."
