Heather Bowman

I am originally from Minnesota but moved further west to pursue a doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy through the University of North Dakota, Casper, WY satellite program. I completed my capstone in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and graduated with my OTD in May 2022. Since graduation, I have primarily delved into outpatient pediatric practice, serving infants and toddlers with feeding difficulties and developmental delays, as well as children and teens with attention deficit, anxiety, Down syndrome, selective mutism, and autism through a sensory, social, and play-based approach.

I am excited to see both children and adults through Intermountain Holy Rosary Hospital to help them meet their goals and gain independence in activities that are most meaningful to them. I look forward to engaging in opportunities for continuing education, staying up-to-date with research, and embracing mentorship opportunities to continue growing as an occupational therapist. When not at the hospital, I enjoy hiking, photography, traveling, and watching hockey with my significant other.
