About The Provider
Hayleigh Myers-Burns, PA, is a physician assistant at Wellington Neurosurgery Clinic in Grand Junction, where she is passionate about delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care. Originally from nearby Fruita, Colorado, Hayleigh brings her Western Slope roots, a strong sense of community, and a commitment to service to every patient interaction.
Her clinical interests include trauma, critical care, and procedural medicine. Hayleigh is particularly drawn to surgical cases for their complexity and the high level of critical thinking they demand. She values the collaborative environment of the operating room, where each team member plays a vital role in achieving the best possible outcomes. One of the most rewarding aspects of her work is applying the knowledge and skills she gained through training to make a meaningful difference in her patients' lives.
Hayleigh’s philosophy of care is grounded in balancing the art and science of medicine. While evidence-based practice guides her clinical decision-making, she believes compassion, empathy, and genuine human connection are equally important to exceptional healthcare. She is dedicated to treating the whole person and recognizes the significant impact of social factors on health outcomes. By understanding each patient’s unique circumstances, she strives to provide comprehensive, individualized care.
A self-described small-town girl with big dreams, Hayleigh was inspired from an early age by the values of compassion, service, and connection that shaped her upbringing. Those experiences led her to pursue a career as a physician assistant, allowing her to combine her love of medicine with her desire to serve others. Her goal is to improve the health, well-being, and quality of life of every patient she has the privilege of caring for.
Outside of medicine, Hayleigh enjoys taking advantage of Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle with her husband. Together, they paddleboard, hike, ski, and explore new places throughout the region. They also share many of their adventures with their energetic puppy, who is always ready to join them on the trail.
