Hannah Beal-Malott, MD

Hannah Beal-Malott, MD, is a pediatrician at Intermountain Health's Kimball Junction Clinic in Park City, Utah. Her philosophy of care is built on partnership: parents are the ultimate experts on their child, and she brings expertise in evidence-based guidelines, science, and resources. The best pediatric medicine happens when those two come together as a team. Her personal and family philosophy is simple — be kind, try your best, and do the right thing.

She has a soft spot for families of premature infants and first-time parents. Her own son was born prematurely and had a challenging NICU course, so she understands firsthand what it feels like to face unknowns and anxieties in a complicated system. She loves caring for children of all ages and partnering with families who are motivated to help their kids thrive.

Her clinical interests include newborn care, well-child exams, premature infant care, anxiety and depression, and acne — though she genuinely enjoys the full variety that general pediatrics brings. Dr. Beal-Malott is an LGBTQ+ safe provider and works to make sure everyone feels welcome in her clinic.

As a mom herself, Dr. Beal-Malott knows it's a complicated time to be a parent, with conflicting opinions and endless misinformation. She offers a judgment-free space to ask questions and seek advice from someone who understands. Her recommendations are always evidence-based at their core, but rooted in the realities of parenting. To answer her most common question upfront: she follows AAP vaccine guidelines. She believes it is her duty to keep all children safe, including newborns and immunocompromised patients in her clinic environment. She is always happy to discuss, but families who choose not to vaccinate may find she is not the best fit for their needs.

She served in the United States Air Force, retiring at the rank of Major. A Park City native, Dr. Beal-Malott loves to ski and hike, and she is happiest outside with her husband and their two young sons. She is excited to be serving the families of her hometown community.
