Hanna Holton

I received my Master's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Portland State University, where I specialized in bilingual assessment and intervention. I learned Spanish through study abroad opportunities in Ecuador and Chile, and I later returned to Chile to teach English. I am currently working as a pediatric bilingual speech-language pathologist. I am passionate about helping children and families improve their communication skills. I believe that building positive relationships with children creates an encouraging environment for them to learn new skills. I often use a play-based approach and meet children where they are to support their communication development.

I am from Silverthorne, Colorado. Growing up in the mountains, I learned to ski at a young age and enjoy all mountain-related activities, including hiking, backpacking, skiing, and cross-country skiing. I love to hike around Grand Junction with my yellow lab. In my free time, I also enjoy embroidery, reading, and cooking.
