About Haley Johnson

About The Provider

Haley Johnson, MD, is a hospital physician at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. She supports patients already admitted to the hospital taking a whole-person approach to care, focusing not only on treating illness but also on helping patients maintain mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Dr. Johnson cares for each patient with the mindset of restoring not just health, but the ability to move, thrive, and return to life. With additional training in sports medicine, she brings a unique perspective on musculoskeletal health, function, and recovery to her practice. She is especially drawn to complex inpatient cases that require a multidisciplinary approach — particularly those involving musculoskeletal complications, metabolic derangements, and acute functional decline.

Her clinical interests include acute medical management, functional preservation, joint and soft tissue procedures including injections and aspirations, and quality improvement. She values clear communication, evidence-based care, and working closely with patients and their families to support informed decisions and smooth transitions.

Originally from Bemidji, Minnesota, Dr. Johnson enjoys staying active outdoors through hiking, running, snowboarding, and pickleball. She grew up playing ice hockey and plans to join a local league in Salt Lake City. When she's not outside, she enjoys relaxing with her dogs, doing puzzles, and knitting.
