About The Provider
I am originally from Nevada and came to Dixie College after graduating from high school. I served a two-year LDS mission in Brazil, where I learned to speak Portuguese, and later earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies at Utah State University. One requirement of my undergraduate program was to complete a study abroad assignment. I chose to attend a Spanish language school in Spain and absolutely loved it. Through these experiences, I learned to love language and communication, which led me to the field of Speech Therapy. I went on to earn my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2011 at the University of Utah. I enjoy working with children with a variety of diagnoses.
I specialize in treating children with hearing impairment, as well as nonverbal children who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. In my free time, I love traveling, hiking, playing pickleball, and spending time with my wife and our three energetic children.
