Gabrielle Smart, MD

Gabrielle Smart, MD, is a pediatrician at Intermountain Health's Southridge Clinic in Riverton, Utah. She believes in building trust and long-term relationships with families, where open communication and shared decision-making are key. She strives to provide evidence-based medical care while also supporting and encouraging her patients through any challenges that arise.

Whether it's a newborn check or navigating the teenage years, Dr. Smart most enjoys visits that allow her to collaborate closely with patients and their families. Every child has unique needs, and she loves partnering with families to help each child be their healthiest and happiest. Her clinical interests include preventive care, newborn medicine, mental health, and obesity medicine. Dr. Smart works to create a calm, comfortable environment where patients and their families feel truly seen and heard. 

Originally from Boise, Idaho, Dr. Smart has lived in Utah since 2019. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their dog, Murphy — hiking, camping, and fishing. At home, she cares for her many houseplants and enjoys reading and doing puzzles.
