Frederick C. Mehling, PA

A Billings native, Frederick (Fritz) earned a bachelor's in Biology and a master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Montana Academy of Physician Assistants. Fritz spent three years working as an emergency tech at St. Vincent. During that time he watched a family friend progress after a significant brain injury with the help of the St. Vincent neurosurgeons. This experience led to his desire to work the neuro team.

“I want to use my knowledge of medicine along with the will of God to help educate patients so that they can make decisions about their healthcare.”

When not at work, Fritz enjoys many outdoor hobbies such as hunting, fishing (especially ice fishing), skiing and hiking.
