Fernando Saul Huerta, DPT

Fernando Huerta is a physical therapist specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine at Intermountain Health’s Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation in – Logan Ortho in Logan, Utah. He supports patients in Logan, Box Elder County, Rich County, Southeastern Idaho, and surrounding communities treating various injuries that include hip, knee, foot and ankle, neck/back and shoulder.

Fernando was a collegiate football athlete who suffered several knee injuries that required six surgeries to repair. This series of events developed a passion for physical therapy and helps him empathize extremely well with his patients. He loves helping people return to participating in activities they enjoy without pain, dysfunction, or limitations.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys watching football and spending time with his wife and little girl. He is a Cache Valley native and loves spending time by the river fishing.
