The first day I met with Dr. Jemison as a new patient, I - a 48 year old man - broke down crying in his office because of an abundance of personal issues I'm dealing with. I'm still pretty perturbed that the dude is a friggin' doctor - someone who is supposed to *care* for his patients - and yet he didn't so much as offer me a tissue. I didn't feel as though he showed much empathy at all.

He actually listened to me about my concerns and made sure the nurse who took my blood knew I’m very nervous when it comes to getting my blood taken. Also he made me feel like he really cared about my wellbeing and not just another patient. I’m lucky I found such a great doctor
