Eric C. Sorenson, MD

Eric Sorenson, MD, FACS is a cancer surgeon with dual board certifications in surgical oncology and general surgery. His expertise is in abdominal surgical oncology, with a specific focus on cancerous and benign tumors of the pancreas, stomach, adrenal gland, gallbladder, liver, and intestine. He performs both minimally invasive (laparoscopic) and standard (open) surgical procedures. Dr. Sorenson enthusiastically supports the multidisciplinary team approach to the care of cancer patients, and he enjoys working with outstanding Intermountain colleagues in medical oncology, radiation oncology, and others in delivering the best possible care to patients with challenging diagnoses.
