Eric A Bylund, LCMHC

Eric Bylund is a clinical mental health counselor in Intermountain Health's Mental Health Integration (MHI) program. He works within the medical setting to provide mental health therapy and consultation alongside your established primary care provider or specialist. MHI treatment is a short-term approach to help manage mental health symptoms that impact quality of life. During treatment, the clinic team communicates with each other to make sure you and your family are getting the care they need. If additional support is needed at the end of treatment with this provider, we will assist with a referral to a long-term mental health provider. Patients needing mental health support who do not have a primary care physician at one of the clinics listed below may contact the Behavioral Health Navigation Line (833-442-2211) for help scheduling with another provider.

Eric has worked in a variety of adolescent and adult treatment settings, including intensive outpatient, day treatment, inpatient psychiatry, and outpatient therapy. He has a BS in Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and he works with a variety of mental health disorders, specializing in anxiety disorders, OCD, panic, and phobias. He utilizes various modalities, such as CBT, ACT, ERP, DBT, SFBT, and CBT-I, to work through anxiety, depression, grief and mourning, sleep and other issues, ultimately helping people work toward their ideal life.

Eric enjoys basketball, tennis, hiking, fishing, and camping with his wife and three daughters.
