Emily Hart Hayes, CNM

Emily Hayes is a certified nurse midwife (CNM) and women's health nurse practitioner (WHNP) at Intermountain Health’s Southridge Clinic in Riverton, Utah. She supports patients in Riverton, Herriman, Bluffdale and surrounding communities. Her practice encompasses pregnancy, birth, postpartum care, family planning, primary care, and gynecologic care. She is dedicated to caring for women throughout their lifespan, from adolescence through menopause.

As a midwife, Emily provides holistic, patient-centered care, embracing a philosophy that affirms the normalcy of women's life events. She emphasizes patience, watchful observation, and minimal intervention in normal processes, using medical interventions thoughtfully when complications arise.

The Utah native is married and has two children. Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and pets, skiing, hiking, reading, crocheting, and listening to music. She is also passionate about policy and advocacy related to women's health issues and the midwifery profession.
