Emily Harriet Gilbert, PA

Emily “Emmy” Gilbert, PA-C, is an experienced physician assistant specializing in cardiology and cardiac critical care, proudly serving patients in Grand Junction, Colorado. With over a decade of hands-on experience, Emmy brings deep clinical expertise and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to cardiovascular care.

Originally from St. Simons Island, Georgia, Emmy earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia before completing her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Georgia Regents University. She went on to pursue advanced training through a postgraduate fellowship in advanced and critical care cardiology at Piedmont Health Institute in Atlanta, where she gained specialized experience managing complex cardiac conditions in high-acuity settings.

Throughout her career, Emmy has remained dedicated to improving outcomes for patients with heart disease through evidence-based care, education, and continuity of treatment. She is especially passionate about preventive cardiology, heart failure management, and supporting patients and their families throughout critical care journeys.

Outside of her clinical work, Emmy enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dog, chasing new adventures on the slopes or trails, or planning her next trip. She loves learning along the way, whether it’s about a new place, a new skill, or just seeing the world from a fresh perspective.
