Emily H Van Komen, NP

Emily Van Komen is a Nurse Practitioner practicing gastroenterology at Intermountain Health Gastroenterology Specialists at Intermountain in Murray. She supports patients and their families in the Salt Lake Valley, treating general gastroenterology issues, upper gastrointestinal conditions, and more. She is passionate about promoting digestive health, improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, and educating her patients about their conditions so they feel empowered to make decisions about their health. 

Emily is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that focuses on overall well-being. As a new graduate in gastroenterology, she is committed to delivering comprehensive and empathetic care while continuously expanding her knowledge and skills in the field.

Outside the clinic, the West Jordan native enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, exploring the outdoors, and traveling. She also loves Chick-fil-A and playing with her two beautiful children and amazing husband.
