Elsa Sutton, MD, is a radiation oncologist at Intermountain Health's Cancer Center - Utah Valley in Provo, Utah. She supports patients in the Utah Valley, dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered cancer care. She enjoys caring for patients across the spectrum of radiation oncology and has particular clinical interests in cancer mental health, underserved populations, and general radiation oncology. Dr. Sutton finds the greatest fulfillment in building meaningful connections with patients and their families, helping them feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout their cancer journey.
Guided by the philosophy, “To cure sometimes, to relieve often, to comfort always,” Dr. Sutton believes in taking whatever time is needed to answer questions, address concerns, and ensure patients and their loved ones feel comfortable and confident in their care.
Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Dr. Sutton enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs. She loves hosting dinner and board game parties, as well as swimming, hiking, rock climbing, and baking—especially chocolate chip cookies.
