About The Provider
Elizabeth Munroe, MD, MSc is a physician within Critical Care Medicine and an Assistant Professor at Intermountain Health. Her clinical interests include critical illness, sepsis, shock, and respiratory failure.
Dr. Munroe’s research focuses on improving outcomes in sepsis and septic shock. She studies how healthcare teams can optimize the use of fluids and vasopressors in early sepsis resuscitation with a particular interest in route of vasopressor administration and physiology-guided personalized fluid resuscitation. Dr. Munroe is the lead on various clinical trials that aim to improve the management of critical illness.
In her free time, Dr. Munroe enjoys swimming, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
