Elin C. Kondrad, MD

Elin grew up in a small town in central New Hampshire and got her BA in English from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She spent ten years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she went to medical school, completed her residency training, served as a faculty member after residency, and completed her faculty development fellowship.

After her tenure at UNC, Elin served as a core faculty member at the St. Anthony North Family Medicine Residency Program for five years, three of which were spent as clinic medical director. She was drawn to St. Joe's because of the program's sense of community and commitment to caring for the underserved. She particularly enjoys primary mental health care and developing longitudinal relationships with patients and their families.

Elin has three children, so much of her free time is spent reading about Harry Potter's adventures, making slime, and going to cross country meets. Her grown-up interests include cooking, running, hiking, and reading novels.
