About Elijah C. Gilmore

About The Provider

Elijah "Eli" Gilmore, DPT, is a physical therapist specializing in outpatient orthopedic care at Intermountain Health's Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation – Salt Lake Clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah. He supports patients in Salt Lake City, North Salt Lake, Millcreek, West Valley, and surrounding communities. He treats a wide range of conditions, including post‑operative rehabilitation, sports‑related injuries, spine conditions, running‑related injuries, and general orthopedic concerns. Eli focuses on helping patients move better, reduce pain, and return safely to the activities they enjoy.

Since 2022, Eli has been committed to building strong, personal relationships with his patients. He believes meaningful progress starts with understanding each individual’s goals and addressing barriers together. His treatment approach includes manual therapy, personalized exercise prescription, patient education, and trigger point dry needling to address musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.

Originally from southern Georgia, he has lived in Virginia and North Carolina before moving to Utah to enjoy the mountains and outdoor lifestyle.

Outside of work, Eli enjoys hiking, skiing, biking, camping, and traveling with his wife. He is an avid runner and trail runner who regularly trains for marathons and ultramarathons. His personal experience with endurance training and injury recovery allows him to deeply understand the physical and mental challenges patients face while rebuilding strength and returning to sport and daily activities.
