Dyllan J. Almond, NP

Dyllan Almond, NP, is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based orthopedic and trauma care at Southwest Orthopedics Urgent Care. With a strong background in trauma and acute care medicine, he is passionate about helping patients navigate injuries and recovery with confidence, clear communication, and high-quality treatment. 

Dyllan's clinical interests span all aspects of trauma care, with a particular focus on orthopedic trauma, fracture management, postoperative care, surgical assisting, and perioperative care. He also enjoys caring for patients with musculoskeletal injuries and has a strong interest in acute trauma resuscitation and stabilization, emergency and critical care management, patient education, and recovery optimization. He values multidisciplinary, team-based care and believes the best patient outcomes are achieved when healthcare professionals work together toward a common goal. 

He is especially drawn to cases that demand teamwork, critical thinking, and hands-on clinical and surgical skills in a fast-paced environment. Dyllan appreciates the variety and complexity of trauma care and finds great fulfillment in being part of a team that can make a meaningful difference during some of the most difficult moments in a patient's life. 

His philosophy of care centers on treating every patient with compassion, respect, honesty, and clear communication, while delivering safe, efficient, evidence-based care. Dyllan understands that injuries, surgeries, and hospital stays can be stressful for patients and their families. He strives to ensure that every patient feels comfortable, informed, heard, and supported throughout their care journey. As a dedicated advocate for his patients, he works hard to ensure they receive the highest quality care and to foster trust and confidence in the treatment process. 

Outside of work, Dyllan enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors through activities such as camping, hunting, fishing, ATV riding, boating, and hiking. He also enjoys traveling, weightlifting, watching movies and television shows, and celebrating the holiday season. A dedicated Disney fan, Dyllan believes Disneyland is truly "the happiest place on earth."
