Douglas Burns, DO, is a hospice and palliative care provider with Intermountain Health in Billings. Dr. Burns is focused on providing patient-centered care during advanced disease and throughout the end of life. He is passionate about helping people maintain their dignity and their individuality. Dr. Burns earned an undergraduate degree from Montana State University and his Doctor of Osteopathy from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a family medicine residency with Montana Family Medicine Residency and a hospice and palliative care fellowship with Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Board-certified, Dr. Burns believes each person has a story to tell. He became a doctor to help people retain authorship despite illness.
