Dr. Derrick Haslem is the Senior Medical Director of the Oncology Clinical Program at lntermountain
Health, and a board-certified specialist in Medical Oncology with expertise in targeted therapy,
genomics, and breast cancer. He provides care for cancer patients at lntermountain Healthcare Cancer Centers in St. George, Murray and Logan as well as via telehealth at Sevier, Cassia, Teton Valley, Idaho, Uintah Basin and Star Valley, Wyoming. Dr. Derrick Haslem has been a key leader in expanding cancer services to more rural populations by providing tele-oncology services. This program brings high-quality cancer care close to home and reduces complexity, cost, and travel for patients living outside and far
away from traditional large cancer centers.

This was my first visit with Dr. Haslem. I was extremely overwhelmed with my first visit to a "Cancer Center" and emotional. Dr. Haslem was very kind and concerned and spend over an hour with my husband explaining the process. Best medical experience in a terrible situation.
