Derek J. Storrs, DPT

Derek Storrs, DPT, is an orthopedic physical therapist at Intermountain Health's Salt Lake Clinic Physical Therapy in Salt Lake City, Utah. He specializes in chronic pain management, orthopedic conditions, running-related injuries, and spine care. Since becoming a physical therapist in 2013, he has been passionate about creating personalized treatment plans that help patients achieve their goals, improve function, and live healthier, more active lives.

Derek takes a patient-centered approach to care, partnering with individuals to build confidence, restore mobility, and return to the activities that matter most to them. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain University.

A Utah native, Derek enjoys taking advantage of the state's outdoor recreation opportunities with his family. He lives in Salt Lake City with his wife, three energetic sons, and their black lab, Koda. Outside of work, his interests include mountain biking, ultramarathon running, skiing, camping, river running, and exploring national parks.
