About The Provider
Dawn Ngo, PA-C, is a dedicated Physician Assistant with Intermountain Health's Health Risk Assessment team. In this position she helps onboard new members to Select Health Medicare Advantage and Dual-Special Needs Program plans by providing a complimentary, one-time visit focused on providing an overall health and wellness assessment and assisting new members towards establishing with their Primary Care team.
Dawn has 18 years of experience in primary care, women’s health, and internal medicine, with a particular focus on gastroenterology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Utah. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, she is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.
Originally from Vietnam, Dawn and her family immigrated to the United States as first-generation immigrants. She has lived in Utah for over 30 years, where she met her husband, and together they have two children. Growing up with limited access to healthcare, Dawn witnessed firsthand the impact of medical disparities. This experience inspired her lifelong passion for medicine and her commitment to ensuring that others receive the care they need to live healthier lives.
As a practicing Physician Assistant, Dawn believes that trust, dedication, communication, and commitment are essential to a positive patient experience. She is passionate about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives through her medical expertise and finds fulfillment in helping patients navigate their health challenges.
Outside of work, Dawn cherishes spending quality time with her family. She enjoys traveling, baking, and cooking for her loved ones.
