David Niumatalolo, MD

David Niumatalolo, MD, is a pain medicine physician at Intermountain Health's Utah Valley Clinic in Provo, Utah, supporting patients in Provo, Orem, Vineyard, and surrounding communities. He specializes in caring for patients living with chronic pain, with a passion for educating patients on conditions they may not have fully understood before, and takes time to explain each diagnosis clearly while outlining a treatment plan to move forward with confidence.

Dr. Niumatalolo strives to provide comprehensive, individualized care for every patient. He believes in a collaborative approach focused on improving function and quality of life, partnering with patients to help them feel their best. His clinical interests include neuromodulation, neuropathic pain, and quality improvement.

Dr. Niumatalolo earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from New Mexico State University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii. He completed his internship at UNLV, his residency at the University of Washington, and a fellowship at Loma Linda University. He is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Pain Medicine.

Originally from Hawaii, Dr. Niumatalolo enjoys spending time with his family, being in the outdoors, and following college football as an avid fan.
