David Luis Boyer, MD

David Boyer, MD, is an OB/GYN at Intermountain Health’s Spanish Fork Women’s Center in Spanish Fork, Utah. He supports patients in Spanish Fork, Mapleton, Payson, and surrounding communities providing comprehensive care for women throughout all stages of life, including preconception, pregnancy, postpartum care, and general gynecology. His clinical interests include preconception care, prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and general gynecology. Dr. Boyer also enjoys minimally invasive robotic surgery, where he uses advanced surgical techniques to support quicker recovery and a faster return to daily activities.

As a provider, Dr. Boyer’s approach is centered on patient empowerment and individualized care. He believes in building trusting, collaborative relationships and treats patients as active partners in their care rather than passive recipients. His philosophy emphasizes a low risk approach whenever appropriate, focusing on lifestyle, preventative care, and evidence based medicine. When medications or surgery are needed, Dr. Boyer takes time to thoroughly explain all options, so patients feel supported and informed throughout the decision making process.

Born in Provo and raised in Orem, Utah, Dr. Boyer is an avid CrossFitter and runner and can often be found on local trails before sunrise. He loves spending time with his children, traveling, and participating in family game nights while encouraging an active, balanced lifestyle.
