About The Provider

David K. Palmer, MD, FACS, is an ear, nose, and throat physician whose specialty covers care from the shoulders and up. At ENT Specialists in Salt Lake City, Murray, Draper, Tooele, and West Jordan, Utah, he specializes in allergies, voice disorders, facial trauma, ENT infections, hearing aid testing, and snoring and sleep disorders. He is trained to care for patients of all ages. Dr. Palmer attended Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, before receiving his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine (formerly the Medical College of Pennsylvania) in Philadelphia in 1986. He completed his ENT residency at Penn State University in University Park, Pennsylvania, in 1992, and achieved board certification shortly thereafter. At ENT Specialists, Dr. Palmer provides specialty allergy care, including testing and immunotherapy. He also performs a full range of surgical procedures such as placement of pressure equalization tubes in ears, tonsil and adenoid removal, nasal surgery, advanced endoscopic sinus surgery, and laser surgery. A Utah native, Dr. Palmer graduated from Skyline High School in Salt Lake City. He is married and has five children. He enjoys the arts, and in his spare time, he can be found playing the piano, watching the Utah Jazz, enjoying his wife's violin playing, playing sports with his family, or singing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
