David Joshua Salcido, NP

David Salcido is a nurse practitioner, specializing in general surgery at Intermountain Health’s Budge Clinic in Logan, Utah. He supports patients in Cache Valley, Rich County, southeastern Idaho, Box Elder County, and surrounding communities, providing comprehensive patient care, during, and after surgical procedures, assisting in the OR, and more. David loves a challenge, and enjoys cases that include anything with critical care, because it forces him to think quickly and outside the box.

David believes in integrating evidence-based treatment approaches with each patient’s goals, beliefs, and values. He strives to deliver high-quality, personalized care that is both effective and respectful of their unique needs and preferences. His clinical interests include critical care medicine, trauma general surgery, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and pulmonary.

David grew up in Mesa, AZ, and is a retired Air Force veteran, with three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Being the oldest of eleven children, he believes family comes first, and loves spending time with his family, sewing leather, quilting, fixing cars, BBQing, cooking, painting, yardwork, and traveling.
