David E. Perry, DO

David Perry, DO, is a cardiologist at Intermountain Health’s Utah Valley Cardiology Clinic in Provo, Utah. He supports patients across Utah County with clinical interests in athletic heart, valvular heart disease, cardiovascular imaging, preventative care, and invasive angiography.  He especially enjoys preventive cardiology and invasive procedures because it provides him the opportunity to help others live better and reduce their cardiovascular risk.

As a provider, Dr. Perry believes in providing technically excellent care but with a compassionate whole person perspective. He takes an individual approach and strives to impart what he has learned to his patients, empowering them to live their best selves.

Originally from Mapleton, Utah, Dr. Perry met his wife, an RN, at the old UVRMC over twenty years ago. They have five children, of which keep them busy with their activities. Outside the clinic he enjoys getting outdoors when he has free time — hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, boating, and skiing, and likes to follow college sports. He has a handful of beehives that he tries to keep alive through the winters, while minimizing the number of stings he receives during the summers.
