About David C. Wang

About The Provider

David Wang, MD, is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Intermountain Health’s Utah Valley Cardiology Clinic in Provo, Utah. He supports patients across Utah County with clinical interests in Atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia therapies, implantation/management of cardiac devices, and other cardiac rhythm concerns. He especially enjoys providing care for patients with cardiac rhythm disorders because the therapies his team offers are often effective in restoring quality of life. For him, witnessing a person's return to health is one of the most satisfying parts of his job as a heart rhythm specialist.

Dr. Wang’s philosophy of care surrounds the quote from John Steinbeck, “you can only understand people if you feel them in yourself.” He has served in Utah County and beyond since 2008. While his patient load is currently high and appointments may be harder to schedule, Dr. Wang wants his patients to know that when you are in his care, you will always receive his undivided attention.

Dr. Wang was born in Taiwan but grew up and was educated in California. Outside the clinic he enjoys fly-fishing, reading, gardening, meditation, playing the piano, and pickleball.
