Dr. Daniel Varela, an El Paso, Texas native, is passionate about caring for his patients and helping treat heart rhythm conditions that prevent them from living their fullest lives. He was drawn to electrophysiology and enthusiastic about better understanding the complexities of the many abnormal heart rhythm disorders. He uses this knowledge to treat his patients and help them better understand their diagnoses and the variety of treatment options available.
Dr. Varela understands that conditions that affect your heart's rhythm can be scary, as can the medication and procedures required to address the issues. His favorite part of his job is sitting with his patients, explaining what is involved with each option, and helping them find the best treatment for them. He strives to address any questions or concerns his patients might have along the way so they feel more at ease as they work with him to live healthy and fulfilling lives.
