Daniel Sumko, D.O., is Fellowship Trained in Adult Reconstruction – focusing on joint replacements. He attended Medical School at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, completed his Residency at UPMC Pinnacle, and had a Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at The CORE Institute. Dr. Sumko grew up in Brigham City and enjoys spending time with his family. In his free time, you can find him in the mountains snowboarding. Dr. Sumko also enjoys fishing, spending time at the beach, and exercising. When asked about the work he does, Dr. Sumko believes “that two-way communication is key to providing the proper treatment for each individual patient. It is critical to ensure the patient is informed of their options and make a decision together.” He tries to implement the best available technologies and minimally invasive approaches to maximize outcomes. He truly cares about his patients and wants them to have the best experience possible with reconstructive surgery.
