About
About The Provider
Daniel Miklin, MD, is a dual board-certified interventional cardiologist committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered cardiovascular care. Fluent in English and Spanish, he is passionate about serving diverse communities and ensuring every patient receives exceptional care with compassion, respect, and understanding.
Dr. Miklin specializes in diagnosing and treating coronary artery disease, cardiogenic shock, structural heart disease, peripheral arterial and venous disease, hypertension, and microvascular disease. He enjoys caring for patients across the full spectrum of cardiovascular disease, from performing diagnostic angiograms to treating critically ill patients requiring complex, life-saving interventions. His advanced fellowship training and research focused on managing complex coronary disease and cardiogenic shock, equipping him to care for some of the most challenging cardiovascular conditions.
He completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at North Shore University Hospital-Manhasset, one of the country's busiest training centers, where he performed nearly 2,000 procedures, including more than 1,300 percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs), in a single year. This extensive experience enables him to approach each case with confidence, technical expertise, and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients.
Raised in Denver, Dr. Miklin left Colorado to pursue his lifelong goal of becoming an interventional cardiologist. He is proud to return home to serve the community that shaped him. Drawing on training in both internal medicine and cardiology, he takes a holistic approach to care, treating the whole person rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis. He enjoys solving complex medical problems and helping patients get back to their best selves, partnering with them to improve not only their heart health but also their overall quality of life. Known for going above and beyond for his patients, Dr. Miklin strives to ensure every individual feels heard, supported, and confident in the care they receive.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Miklin stays active with fitness, golf, and pickleball. An avid traveler, he has visited more than 50 countries and is passionate about exploring new cultures and experiences. He also enjoys cooking, hosting friends and family, and spending time with his wife as they build their life together in Colorado.
