About The Provider
Daniel Evans, MD, is a board-certified urologist at Urological Institute – St. George, dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care for a wide range of urologic conditions. Originally from Darmstadt, Germany, Dr. Evans is trilingual in German, Mandarin, and English, enabling him to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds and to help them feel informed and comfortable throughout their treatment journey.
Dr. Evans specializes in evaluating and treating kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, erectile dysfunction, and vasectomy care. He also has extensive experience with robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques, offering advanced treatment options tailored to each patient's needs.
His clinical interests include robotic radical and partial nephrectomy, sacral neuromodulation for overactive bladder and voiding dysfunction, kidney stone surgery—including ureteroscopy and percutaneous nephrolithotomy—and BPH procedures such as TURP and GreenLight™ laser therapy. He particularly enjoys managing complex stone disease, helping patients regain quality of life through innovative treatments for bladder dysfunction, and using robotic surgery to deliver effective, minimally invasive care.
Dr. Evans believes urologic care is deeply personal and recognizes that many patients seek treatment during vulnerable, challenging times. He prioritizes listening carefully to patients’ concerns, ensuring they feel respected, understood, and actively involved in their care. Through shared decision-making, he collaborates with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans aligned with their values, goals, and lifestyle. He is committed to upholding the highest standards of clinical and surgical excellence and considers the trust patients place in their physician a privilege and a responsibility.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Evans enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is passionate about skiing, camping, cooking and enjoying good food, reading nearly any genre of book, and experiencing theater and the arts. His love of learning, culture, and the outdoors reflects the well-rounded perspective he brings to his practice and his relationships with patients.
