Daina Swamy, NP

Daina Morris Swamy, DNP, is a neonatal nurse practitioner who cares for newborns in the NICU at Intermountain Health's Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. Her clinical interests include caring for extremely low birthweight and extremely premature infants, and she has a special fondness for 33-weekers — a stage she finds especially endearing, and one that reminds her of her own 33-week preemies. Daina wants families to know that she welcomes questions, clarifications, and long conversations about their baby, and that no concern is too small to bring to her.

Daina wants families to feel confident in their baby's care and trust that the team is always acting with their child's best interests in mind.

Daina earned her nursing degree from the University of Arizona and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Utah. She is board certified as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.

Originally from Arizona, Daina loves to travel, camp, bake, cook, and throw dinner parties. She has 10-year-old twins who were her own introduction to the NICU.
