About DaeLyn T. Clawson

About The Provider

DaeLyn Clawson, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Intermountain Health's Behavioral Clinic - Psychiatry and Counseling in Bountiful, Utah. She supports patients in Bountiful, Woods Cross, North Salt Lake, Centerville, and surrounding communities, dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

DaeLyn enjoys getting to know each patient as an individual and values the unique experiences, strengths, and goals they bring to their care. She provides treatment for a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), psychosis, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Her approach to care is thoughtful, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. DaeLyn strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take an active role in their treatment. When medication is appropriate, she focuses on education, shared decision-making, and ongoing monitoring to ensure treatment is both effective and well tolerated. She believes lasting improvement comes from understanding the whole person, including their mental health symptoms, physical health, life experiences, and personal goals.

DaeLyn wants her patients to know they are equal partners in their care. She is committed to helping individuals build confidence, develop coping strategies, and make meaningful progress toward long-term mental wellness.

Originally from Ohio, DaeLyn enjoys spending time outside of work reading, exploring resources through the Queens Public Library, watching BritBox, and, as she jokes, indulging her passion for Costco.
