Dr. Craig Chappell specializes in both neuromusculoskeletal medicine and sports medicine with additional training and certification in musculoskeletal ultrasound. He combines his areas of expertise to provide a specialized approach to healing pain through a combination of conservative and interventional modalities.
Dr. Craig Chappell DO, CAQSM, RMSK is the owner and director of in2it Medical. Dr. Chappell is a graduate of Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, KY. He completed a Family Practice residency at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, OH. Following his residency, Dr. Chappell went on to complete two fellowships - one in Nueromusculoskeletal/Osteopathic Manual Medicine (NMM/OMM) and one in Sports Medicine. He is triple board certified in Family Practice, NMM/OMM, and Sports Medicine. Additionally, he is certified in Musculoskeletal Sonography (RMSK) as well as Interventional Regenerative Orthopedic Medicine. Prior to opening his own practice, Dr. Chappell was the medical director of Functional Health and Sports Medicine in Ocala, FL. He also worked for Ohio University in Athens, OH, serving in multiple capacities as assistant professor of Family Medicine, medical director of the Professional Athletic Training Program, and team physician for the University's football team.
