Courtney Ellena, CNM, is a compassionate certified nurse midwife at Intermountain Health Amber Creek OB/GYN, dedicated to helping women achieve their individual health goals at every stage of life. Her clinical interests include general obstetrics and gynecology, contraception, and hormone health. She values the opportunity to care for a diverse range of patients each day.

Courtney enjoys building lasting relationships with women throughout their healthcare journey, from birth control management and annual wellness exams to prenatal care, postpartum support, and menopause management. She believes women deserve individualized care that honors their unique needs, values, and preferences. Rather than approaching care with a personal agenda or bias, Courtney partners with patients to provide education, guidance, and evidence-based recommendations that empower them to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

Known for her attentive, patient-centered approach, Courtney takes time to listen carefully and create a comfortable environment where patients feel heard, respected, and confident in their care. Outside of work, Courtney enjoys attending music festivals and concerts, cooking, gardening, and rafting outdoors whenever she has the opportunity.
