Cortney Steinmann Parkinson, CNM

Cortney Parkinson is a board-certified nurse midwife (CNM) at Intermountain Health’s Budge Clinic – OB/GYN in Logan, Utah. She supports women in Cache County, Rich County, southeastern Idaho, Box Elder County and surrounding communities providing family planning, pregnancy care, childbirth support, postpartum care, preventative women’s health across the lifespan, gynecologic care, and menopause. Cortney loves attending births and feels privileged to care for women throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period. She values building lasting relationships with her patients and considers it an honor to support them through the most meaningful moments of their lives.

Cortney believes in providing compassionate, evidence-based care that honors each patient's unique experience. Her goal is to support women's physical and emotional wellbeing through every stage of life. She views pregnancy and birth as natural processes and strives to empower patients through education, shared-decision making, and respectful collaboration. Cortney is committed to creating a supportive environment where patients feel valued, informed, and confident in their care.

Originally from St. Anthony, Idaho, Cortney grew up on a potato farm but currently resides in the Logan area. Outside the clinic she is a mother of four and loves spending time with them. She enjoys anything involving water, whether it’s kayaking, boating, or relaxing by her pond. Cortney is a huge Neil Diamond fan, loves a cold Diet Coke, and enjoys traveling to explore historical sites.
