Corrie J. Alonzo, MD

Dr. Corrie Alonzo is a board-certified neonatologist. She is passionate about caring for the smallest, most fragile infants in the neonatal unit. It is rewarding for her to create an environment of team collaboration to optimize care for this population. These infants grow stronger each day and are one step closer to discharging home with family.

A Colorado native, she attended college at the University of Colorado before earning her medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency and neonatal-perinatal fellowship at the University of Virginia. In 2019, she moved back to Colorado and began her career as a neonatologist at Saint Joseph Hospital.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and sons. They take advantage of all Colorado offers, including camping and skiing. They have loved being back in their home state.
