Colin K. Grissom, MD is a Professor and Senior Medical Director of Acute and Ambulatory Medical Specialties Clinical Program at Intermountain Health. Dr. Grissom cares for critically ill patients and his clinical interests include high-altitude illness and wilderness medicine. His research focuses on the implementation of best practices in critical care, mechanical ventilation, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and resuscitation of patients with septic shock.
Dr. Grissom obtained his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine, and he attended the University of Washington and the University of Utah during his internship, residency, and fellowship training.
Dr. Grissom is originally from Wheat Ridge, Colorado and enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and skiing in his free time.
