About Clinton Thurber

About The Provider

Clinton Thurber, MD, is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Intermountain Health’s McKay-Dee Heart and Rhythm Specialists in Ogden, Utah. He supports patients in Ogden, North Ogden, South Ogden, Roy, and surrounding communities with clinical interests in complex ablation, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, and percutaneous left atrial appendage occlusion. He most enjoys performing complex cardiac ablations because of the joy of helping patients get back their quality of life. He also enjoys the technical and problem-solving aspects of the operations.

As a provider, Dr. Thurber believes that the patient always comes first. When they come into the clinic, patients can expect a joint decision-making process and a procedural experience focused on both safety and efficacy. Dr. Thurber encourages open communication, listens to each patient’s concerns and preferences, and tailors treatment plans to meet individual needs. His commitment to both safe practices and effective results means that every procedure is carefully planned and executed with the patient’s best interest at heart.

Outside the clinic, the Texas native loves to spend time with his family and dog, going hiking, camping, skiing, and traveling internationally with his wife.
