About Claire E. Spellman
About The Provider
Born and raised in Parker, Colorado, Dr. Spellman has been a Colorado girl almost her entire life. She attended Creighton University for undergraduate school and Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska for her medical degree. Prior to obtaining her medical degree, Dr. Spellman earned a Master’s of Science in Human Genetics from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Spellman was thrilled to return to Denver to complete a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Joseph Hospital, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident, ACOG (American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) Colorado Junior Fellow Chair, and won the Medical Student Teaching Award three of the four years. Her clinical interests include minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery, obstetrics and identifying and correcting healthcare disparities in the community.

A new mom to a little girl, Dr. Spellman spends her time outside of the office with her husband, baby and dog. She recharges by hiking, snowboarding and cooking.
