Dr. Shale and his wife Maggie grew up in San Diego. Dr Shale earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from UC Berkeley and went on to medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia on a US Navy Scholarship. He served in the US Navy doing his surgical internship at Naval Medical Center San Diego and then served four years with a Marine Helicopter squadron deploying to Southeast Asia and Iraq. He then did General Surgery training and Plastic Surgery training at Scott & White Hospital in Texas.
He currently lives in Ogden with his wife and three daughters.

At no point did he ask about my goals or what I was hoping to achieve. Instead of offering professional guidance tailored to me, he only stated his personal maximum and preference for over-the-muscle placement, and told me to find another surgeon if I wanted more than what he was willing to offer.

It is wonderful, they take the time to talk to me, him and his nurses were so patient to me and explained everything with details. That is so important to me and I imagine for other patients, I will highly recommend Dr shell and his staff amazing people.
