Chesley E. Wells, MD

Chelsey Wells, MD, is a hospitalist at Intermountain Health's Alta View Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center, LDS Hospital, and Riverton Hospital. As a hospitalist, Dr. Wells cares for patients throughout their hospital stay. She coordinates treatment, manages medications, and works with specialists, nurses, and patients’ primary care providers to keep their care connected. She's in the hospital every day — listening, answering questions, and making sure patients understand their plan of care from admission through discharge.

She has cared for patients in the hospital since 2011, and treats each patient as the center of their care and works closely with a team of specialists, nurses, and other health professionals to meet their needs. Dr. Wells brings empathy and compassion to every patient and family she cares for.

Dr. Wells is also a faculty member at the University of Utah. She teaches and serves as an attending physician on hospital teaching teams, where she helps train the next generation of doctors.
