Carly T. Alba, RD

Carly is an outpatient Registered Dietitian at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT. She emphasizes the importance of implementing realistic diet and lifestyle changes to help others reach their health-related goals, especially related to kidney disease, inflammatory bowel disease and other gastrointestinal conditions, diabetes, and heart-health. In addition to offering outpatient appointments, Carly is also a lead dietitian and instructor for the Way to Wellness Program, Intermountain Health's accredited Diabetes Prevention Program. 

Carly earned her Master's Degree in Nutrition and Integrative Physiology with a concentration in nutrition education and research from the University of Utah. Prior to that, she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition from Southern Utah University, where she also participated in a nutrition study abroad program in Japan. She has a passion for education and teaches nutrition courses at the local community college. She also participates in monthly news media interviews for local TV stations. In her free time, Carly enjoys hiking, traveling, kayaking, and playing tennis and pickleball.
