About Brock S. Howick

About The Provider

Brock Howick, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Intermountain Health's Bear River Clinic Mental Health Integration (MHI) program. Brock works within the medical setting to provide mental health therapy and consultation alongside your established primary care
provider or specialist. His clinical interests include counseling for mental health, substance use and addictions, crisis intervention, and healthcare-related concerns.

As a clinical social worker, Brock's philosophy of care is rooted in the belief that every individual possesses inherent strengths and the capacity for growth. His holistic approach recognizes the interconnectedness of mental, emotional, and social well-being, allowing him to support his patients comprehensively and meaningfully. His strengths-based, solution-focused approach views the relationship between clinician and client as a collaborative partnership where each individual has unique strengths and resources that can be harnessed to overcome challenges, achieve personal goals, and feel empowered to navigate their paths with confidence and resilience.

A Murray, Utah native, Brock has been a member of the Tremonton community since 2019. When not working, Brock cherishes time with his large, blended family. Brock married his wife in 2019, blending two families into a lively household of nine children ranging from 2 to 22 years of age. With such a dynamic family, there's never a dull moment! Brock and his family love exploring the great outdoors together, enjoying activities like hiking in Southern Utah, camping, snowboarding, and anything else that gets them outside.

MHI treatment is a short-term approach to help manage mental health symptoms that impact quality of life. During treatment, the clinic team communicates with each other to ensure you and your family receive the care they need. If additional support is needed at the end of treatment with this provider, we will assist with a referral to a long-term mental health provider. Patients needing mental health support who do not have a primary care provider at one of the clinics listed below may contact the Behavioral Health Navigation Line (833-442-2211) for help scheduling with another provider.
