Brittany N. Turner, NP

Brittany Turner, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in neurosurgery at Intermountain Medical Center’s Neurosurgery Spine Clinic in Murray, Utah. She works closely with Dr. Nam Yoon, supporting patients across the Salt Lake Valley, caring for individuals with a wide range of neurosurgical conditions. Brittany has worked exclusively in neurosurgery throughout her healthcare career and values the variety and complexity the specialty brings.

Acting as both an educator and advocate, Brittany believes in clearly explaining treatment options and ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and involved in decisions about their care. Her clinical interests include neurosurgical trauma, degenerative spine conditions, and continuing education across all areas of neurosurgery.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Brittany spent 16 years in the operating room as a surgical technician and circulating nurse, primarily supporting the neurosurgery team. This extensive surgical background allows her to play a key role in patient evaluations, treatment discussions, and ongoing care. She also assists during complex surgical and endovascular procedures and supports patients throughout their postoperative recovery.

A Salt Lake City native, Brittany enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring new places outside of work. She likes traveling to learn more about U.S. history, camping in Utah’s backcountry with side‑by‑side rides, and cycling on road trails throughout the state. She also participates in organized charity rides and races.
