Brian is especially passionate about helping patients better understand their individual conditions, and he takes pride in translating complex medical concepts into clear, approachable language that empowers patients to take an active role in their care.

Before pursuing graduate education and advanced clinical training, Brian worked as a critical care paramedic, an experience that sparked his early interest in cardiology and shaped his approach to patient care. His clinical background includes both inpatient and outpatient cardiology, as well as 5 years of independent overnight management of a hospital and ICU, during which he developed strong clinical judgment and a calm, decisive approach in high-acuity settings.
